EUSR National Water Hygiene (Blue Card) Training

Developed in collaboration with all UK water companies, EUSR’s National Water Hygiene (NWH) scheme, also known as a ‘Blue Card’, plays a vital part in ensuring the protection of public health and promoting good water hygiene practices.

This course is also delivered as the first part of the National Water Hygiene & Scottish Water (DOMS) course. At ACT - Avery Cameron Training, we run both the combined and individual courses at our Dingwall Training Centre. Here’s what to expect when you book onto our Blue Card training:

National Water Hygeine (Blue Card) Modules:

  • Module 1: The importance of water

  • Module 2: Water as a carrier of disease

  • Module 3: Potential contamination and its consequences

  • Module 4: Preventing contamination

National Water Hygeine (Blue Card) Delivery Method:

This scheme can be delivered by:

  • 2023 NWH (Face-to -face) training 

  • 2023 NWH (Remote / e-Classroom) training

  • 2023 NWH (e-Learning / e-Assessment) programme

National Water Hygeine (Blue Card) Assesment:

All NWH training is assessed through a multiple-choice question test containing 25 questions.
