Funding Options for Safety Training in the Highlands

Funding is waiting for you. Below, you'll find information on the CITB Employer Network Fund, Training Groups in the Highlands, and Short Duration Grant Funding. We hope this helps you better understand the funding options available to support your health and safety training needs.

CITB Employer Network Fund - How much can you claim?

The CITB Employer Network Fund is designed to help UK construction businesses access essential workforce training, enhance the skills of your workforce and ensure compliance with industry standards.

Your business must be registered with the CITB Levy system and be up to date with levy payments to qualify for the CITB Employer Network Fund. You can claim up to £32,500 in CITB funding, with CITB covering 70% of the cost and your business contributing just 30%.

This means you could access £25,000 worth of training, fully funded for your workforce.

Training Groups

We work closely with the Highland Construction Training Group, Scottish Civils Training Group & North Highland Construction Training Group to offer discounted rates to their members. To access these discounted rates, contact the training groups below:

Short Duration Grant Funding

The CITB pays grants for the achievement of approved short courses, which last from 3 hours to 29 days and focus on the core construction skills needed across the industry.

Short course grants are paid directly by the CITB following the successful completion of courses.
