Street Works Refresher
At Avery Cameron Training, we run monthly Street Works Refresher (Operative or Supervisor) training at our training centre in Dingwall, just 15 minutes drive from Inverness or we can deliver this on site in the Highlands & Islands or anywhere across Scotland.
This course can be completed by either Operatives or Supervisors who hold a current or recently expired SWQR card looking to renew this for another 5 years.

Delegates must have a valid (or expired within the last 5 years) SWQR card to attend this course
Upon successful completion of this course, ACT will apply for your SWQR card.
Course Duration: 2 Days
Maximum Delegates: 8 Delegates
Delivery Method: Classroom Based Theory and Practical
· The following units will be reassessed during the course:
· Location of underground apparatus.
· Signing, lighting and guarding.
· Excavation in the highway.
· Reinstatement of compaction and backfill materials.
· Reinstatement of sub-base and road base non-bituminous materials.
· Reinstatement of cold-lay bituminous materials.
· Reinstatement of hot-lay bituminous materials.
· Reinstatement of modular surfaces and concrete footways
If you don’t have a valid or recently expired Street Works card already, you will be required to complete a Street Works 5 Day Course for either the Operative or Supervisor award.

We will apply for the CITB Grant Payment of £120 per person for candidates who successfully complete this course.
