Based in Inverness & need a Green CSCS Labourer’s Card?
Are you looking to get your Green CSCS Labourer’s card? This qualification is designed for labourers and others in basic construction roles who do not require advanced qualifications. The card demonstrates that the holder understands essential health and safety practices needed to work safely on site.
How to apply for your Green CSCS Labourer’s Card:
To apply for the Labourer’s Card, all applicants must pass the CITB Health, Safety and Environment Test for Operatives and hold one of the following:
The Level 1 (Scotland Level 4) Award in Health and Safety in a Construction Environment
The Scottish Level 5 REHIS Elementary Health and Safety Certificate
The NOCN/CSkills Awards Construction Health and Safety (F/618/0738) unit
A CSCS-approved alternative qualification
CITB’s Health & Safety Awareness Course
The HSA (Health& Safety Awareness) course is one of the qualifications accepted as an alternative to the Level 1 Award.
This one-day course highlights potential hazards on site and provides practical advice on keeping yourself and your colleagues safe. It also covers individual and employer responsibilities, including what to do if you believe someone’s health or safety is at risk.
Inverness-based CITB Health & Safety Awareness Training
At ACT - Avery Cameron Training, we run regular 1-Day Health & Safety Awareness courses at our Dingwall Training Centre. After completing this course, you then need to pass the CITB Health, Safety and Environment Test for Operatives to gain your Green CSCS Labourer’s Card.
