ACT Is Now a Living Wage Employer!

We have some good news to share! ACT is now a Living Wage Employer, and it is something we are really pleased to be able to say.

At ACT, we believe that looking after people is extremely important! Whether this is through the training we provide or the way we look after our own team. Fair pay is a massive part of that, and we are proud to be taking this step.

What does being a Living Wage Employer mean?

The real Living Wage is a rate of pay based on the cost of living, rather than simply the government minimum. It is designed to help people earn enough to cover everyday essentials, and employers choose to pay it voluntarily (Living Wage Scotland)

For us, it is about recognising the people who help make ACT what it is. We know that our team plays a huge part in supporting our customers and delivering the training we offer across the Highlands and Scotland.

Why Does It Matter?

We believe that people should feel valued for the work they do. Fair pay is one way businesses can support their employees and help create a more positive working environment.

Being a Living Wage Employer is a step we are proud of, and it reflects the kind of business we want to be: one that values its people and understands the importance of fair work.

Supporting people across Scotland

Based in Dingwall, near Inverness, ACT provides health and safety training for individuals and businesses across the Highlands and throughout Scotland.

While much of our work focuses on helping others stay safe, qualified and confident in their roles, we believe it is just as important to look after the people behind the business.

We are pleased to be taking this step and look forward to continuing to support our team, our customers and the wider community.
