This CAT and Genny Training course is designed to give candidates the knowledge needed to detect buried utilities safely before excavation work begins.

The course covers the use of electromagnetic location (EML) equipment and the safe use of cable avoidance tools and signal generators. It also looks at the requirements of HSG47 when locating underground services on construction sites.
