This EUSR Utility Excavations Categories 3, 4 and 5 Training course introduces learners to the theoretical and practical risks involved in excavation work.

Learners will become familiar with different ground conditions and understand how to select the correct ground support or retention system. The course also includes practical training and assessment while installing ground support systems in a live environment using a specific temporary works design.

ACT delivers EUSR Utility Excavations Categories 3, 4 and 5 Training from our Dingwall training centre and at customer locations across the Highlands, Inverness, Aberdeen, Fort William and throughout Scotland.

  • Differentiate between soil types and conditions

  • Be able to safely install, remove and inspect steel shoring equipment w/practical experience in doing so
