·        The hierarchy of measures and when RPE should be considered as a control measure.

·        Different types of RPE and their uses and limitations.

·        Markings on RPE according to EN140, EN143 and EN149.

·        Carrying out and recording a Qualitative Fit Test according to INDG 479.
