This Street Works Refresher course is suitable for operatives or supervisors who hold a current or recently expired SWQR card and need to renew their qualification for a further five years.

Delegates who do not already hold a valid or recently expired Street Works card will need to complete the full five-day Street Works course for either the Operative or Supervisor award.

ACT delivers Street Works Refresher training from our Dingwall training centre and at customer locations across the Highlands, Inverness, Aberdeen, Fort William and throughout Scotland.

Upon successful completion of this course, ACT will apply for your SWQR card.

·        The following units will be reassessed during the course:

·        Location of underground apparatus.

·        Signing, lighting and guarding.

·        Excavation in the highway.

·        Reinstatement of compaction and backfill materials.

·        Reinstatement of sub-base and road base non-bituminous materials.

·        Reinstatement of cold-lay bituminous materials.

·        Reinstatement of hot-lay bituminous materials.

·        Reinstatement of modular surfaces and concrete footways

If you don’t have a valid or recently expired Street Works card already, you will be required to complete a Street Works 5 Day Course for either the Operative or Supervisor award.

At Avery Cameron Training, we run monthly Street Works Refresher (Operative or Supervisor) training at our training centre in Dingwall, just 15 minutes drive from Inverness or we can deliver this on site in the Highlands & Islands or anywhere across Scotland.
