(NRSWA) Street Works 5 Day Course
At Avery Cameron Training, we run monthly Street Works 5 Day Courses (Operative or Supervisor) training at our training centre in Dingwall, just 15 minutes drive from Inverness or we can deliver this on site in the Highlands & Islands or anywhere across Scotland.
This course can be completed by either Operatives or Supervisors looking to gain a Street Works card to work on public roads.
Are you a CITB Levy Payer? As a CITB ATO, on successful completion of the course we will apply for the CITB Grant Payment of £1040 for Operatives & £900 for Supervisors on your behalf.

• The following units will be covered during the course:
• Location of underground apparatus.
• Signing, lighting and guarding.
• Excavation in the highway.
• Reinstatement of compaction and backfill materials.
• Reinstatement of sub-base and road base non-bituminous materials.
• Reinstatement of cold-lay bituminous materials.
• Reinstatement of hot-lay bituminous materials.
• Reinstatement of modular surfaces and concrete footways.
